New Stuff for Uploaders

We have a few new features for you uploaders. The first is a delayed upload for groups that require a waiting period before their releases can be mirrored. Just enter the number of hours or days the release should be held, then you can forget about it and the system will automatically post it when the waiting period has passed. The second is we added the option to upload using a direct download link or other file hosting source. This is helpful for users with slower upstream connections since the file won't have to go through your connection at all. When using this feature, make sure you paste the direct link to the archive, not the page the archive is on or it won't work. This feature is still in the testing stages, so it may not work for some sites, and you might get some ambiguous error messages. On an unrelated note, MT Score is back. Your score is viewable on your forum profile or on the memberlist.

The changes sound good.

EDIT: Tried it the new way, and it worked immediately. Good job, everybody!

It should be a temporary issue. If it's still not working, just try it again a little later.

WOW! I like it! I really like how there's always something new being added. The feature about direct links in order to upload... might be my most favorite addition ever! *goes to upload more manga* Yeeppeee!

Edit: Hasn't worked for me, yet T.T But I will try till I figure it out ^^
To clarify XD Mediafire/MegaUploads/ Ect~, Are you not direct links, right?
I tried uploading those hosted on an FTP server, and they weren't able to upload. Even tried direct links from Box.net (static). With luck, it'll work for me eventually~

I tried uploading those hosted on an FTP server, and they weren't able to upload. Even tried direct links from Box.net (static). With luck, it'll work for me eventually~

If the link doesn't end in .zip or .rar, chances are it wont work, and even then it might be iffy as they still might be piping it through a script that wont let it work.

Ok~ Yup, the ones I tried, did end in .zip and.rar~ but I will wait till it works~ MT always adds new things, It's just so great~ *woot* I'll upload the usual way XD Once it's set up, will one have to wait the normal time, though it's not using our upload speed?

FTP isn't supported right now, it must be through http. Megaupload and Sendspace seem to work best, I've had no problem getting it to work with those. Mediafire is spotty, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. The preferrable method is a direct download link offered by the scanlators. If the server is operating at full speed, it should upload much faster since it's a server to server transfer. If you still have trouble with the free file hosting sites, send me a pm with more details and I'll try to help you out.

Beware: Mine did not work because of spaces. Make sure you just put copy link. Signs will appear, don't worry XD . It'll work
